Observatory Tower
The Mount Washington Observatory volunteer program is available to all members of the Observatory. There are three primary volunteer areas:
Summit Volunteer

Spend a Wednesday to Wednesday shift on the Summit of Mount Washington mainly cooking and cleaning as well as helping the crew with daily chores, research work, or other special projects. Experience the "world's worst weather" first hand and for free!

Weather Discovery Center

Volunteers at the Observatory's office, retail store, museum, and library provide countless hours of assistance to the staff doing mailings, general office help, working the counter in the retail store, or on special projects.
