The Ravines

Ski Magazine rated Wildcat Mountain the most scenic ski area in the east in October of 2002. The views of the east face of Mount Washington from Wildcat's summit include a stunning look at Tuckerman and Huntington Ravines.

Through a partnership with Wildcat Mountain and the USDA Forest Service, Mount Washington Observatory is proud to offer this webcam, giving website visitors the same view that skiers, snowboarders and hikers enjoy while at Wildcat. Developed and tested over twelve months and launched in March 2003, this solar-powered webcam updates the image every 15 minutes. Just like the top of Mount Washington, Wildcat's summit is often enshrouded in clouds. On a clear day, web visitors can enjoy views of Tuckerman Ravine (left) and Huntington Ravine (right), just below the snowfields and summit cone.
