We are located at 2779 Main Street in North Conway, NH. Main Street is also known as Route 16 and White Mountain Highway. A local area map appears at the bottom of this page. For your convenience, you can also get driving directions from Google Maps, Yahoo! Maps, or MapQuest.

From Boston

Take I-95 north to Portsmouth, NH. Bear left in Portsmouth (Exit 4) onto the Spaulding Turnpike. The Spaulding Turnpike will turn onto Route 16 after passing through two 50¢ tolls.

Route 16 will take you to Conway Village. As you enter the village, you will pass Route 112 (the Kancamagus Highway) on your left and then over a set of railroad tracks. Continue through Conway and turn left at the first set of lights to follow West Side Road or continue to the second set of lights and turn left to follow Route 16 north into the village of North Conway.

Larger Size If following Route 16 into North Conway Village, look for us a short distance north of the park and railroad station. We're located on the east side of the road, adjacent to Citizen's Bank and across from the Eastern Slope Inn and Eastern Mountain Sports (EMS).

If following West Side Road, take a right when you reach River Road: this will bring you to a traffic light on Main Street, just north of the Weather Discovery Center.

From Portland

Take Route 302 (Forest Ave) from Portland through Naples, Bridgton, and then Fryeburg. Continue on Route 302 across the Maine/NH border and through Center Conway.

Shortly after Center Conway take a right at a flashing light to follow Route 302 into North Conway. Take a right at the intersection of Route 302 and Route 16 and continue west on 302 (north on 16) to the village of North Conway.

The Weather Discovery Center is located a short distance north of the park and railroad station. We're located on the east side of the road, adjacent to Citizen's Bank and across from the Eastern Slope Inn and Eastern Mountain Sports (EMS).

From Burlington

Take I-89 south from Burlington. Take Exit 7 (Barre) from I-89 onto Route 62 and follow the signs for Route 302. Route 62 goes through a number of lights after which you turn right onto Route 302 East. Follow Route 302 to Wells River, cross the Vermont/NH border into Woodsville, and continue on 302 through Littleton, Bethlehem, Twin Mountain, and then through Crawford Notch.

Route 302 joins Route 16 in Glen, NH which then continues east (south on 16) for another 3 miles and passes by the Scenic Vista on the right.

The Weather Discovery Center is 1.3 miles south from the Scenic Vista and is located opposite the Eastern Slope Inn and adjacent to Citizen's Bank.
