18 – Bird-Watching Walk for MWO Club Level Members
Join Mount Washington Observatory staff and fellow MWO members for a complimentary spring bird-watching walk here in the beautiful Mount Washington Valley. Led by MWO Staff Scientist and avid birder Bob Deegan, the location for the walk is yet to be determined. A box lunch will be included. Please call Membership Coordinator MaryAnn Guerrieri prior to May 13 to register for the event. She can be reached at (800) 706-0432, ext. 206. Bring your binoculars, a camera, water bottle, bug spray and boots that are suitable for wet conditions.

Observatory summit and valley volunteers are invited to join us at the Mt. Washington Auto Road for a good ol' fashioned summer cookout and a trip to the summit of Mount Washington for a spectacular sunset. It's our way of saying "thanks" to all of our incredible volunteers. Look for more information soon as details are set.

12 – MWO Fall Fundraiser
This fall, we'll be bringing Mount Washington to the Seacoast! The Observatory's 2008 Fall Fundraiser will be held in downtown Portsmouth, NH at the beautiful One Hundred Club. More information on program, pricing and time will be available soon.
