We are proud to announce our fifth annual New Year's Eve extravaganza! This special VIP trip combines all the alpine adventure of a Mount Washington Observatory overnight with the added indulgence of an incredible culinary masterpiece by Chef Ken Berry of South Weymouth, MA.
This year, Ken is planning a unique and fanciful shabu-shabu dining experience inspired by Tokyo's top culinary institutions. A gourmet approach to Asian hot-pot cuisine, diners will partake in a fun, hands-on feast that delights the senses with bubbling savory broths, specially-prepared meats and vegetables, a delicious array of dipping sauces and decadent beer and wine.
And of course, no New Years Eve celebration is complete without a festive champagne toast to the tune of Auld Lang Syne. Revelers will even have the opportunity to welcome the first sunrise of the new year from the most remarkable vantage point in the Northeastern United States!
An incredible way to celebrate New Year's Eve while supporting a legendary New Hampshire institution, this truly is the trip of a lifetime. Hurry: Only nine tickets are available, and this popular event sells out quickly.
Tickets are $1,000 per person, an all proceeds from this special fundraising event directly support the nonprofit Mount Washington Observatory's work in weather observation, research and education.
To register, call Events and Marketing Manager Krissy Fraser at (800) 356-2137, ext. 231.

When you reach the top you will have gained more than 3,500 feet of elevation, traveling from the temperate forest, through tree line, and into to the alpine zone—a rugged, otherworldly landscape of earth and sky. After unloading the snowcat you'll head inside the weather station and warm up with a hot beverage and snack.
