Hi I was wondering if anybody kept track of the weather for this event over the past five years. I was just wondering what the trend was for the weather this way I can pack accordingly. I usually pack rain gear and then dress in layers. But any inside information about the weather would be somewhat helpful I understand Mt W weather changes continuously and can be rather unpredictable but I was just wondering if there was any sort of history into your assistance.

The weather conditions on any one day, even over five years, is a pretty poor indicator of what the weather is going to be like on July 28th this year.

Instead, plan for the normal weather during the last two weeks of July, including the extremes that are common that time of year.

Expect the normals but plan for the extremes. To some extent, I doubt that it will hit 24F at the end of July, that record low was likely recored at the beginning of the month.

Edit: the record lows for the end of July are closer to 30F.
