Wilderness trail off the Kank

Does anyone know if they still allow camping off the wilderness trail? Years ago there were platforms about 3 miles in and some others at 13 falls I believe.

The 28th AMC White Mountain Guide on page 165 details camping in the Pemi Wilderness. The established campsites now are the 13 Falls Campsite-junction of Franconia Brook, Lincoln Brook, and Twin Brook Trails-9 tent pads, with a caretaker and fee during the summer. It is over 8 miles in. the other, which is closer, is the Franconia Brook Tentsite, east side of the Pemi River, 2.6 miles off the Kanc. 24 tentsites, reservations can be made or one can just show up. There are more details on page 167 of the 28th AMC White Mountain Guide.
