saw him while soaking feet and enjoying a Blackbeary Wheat after the hike

D'oh!!! The goldenrod image with butterfly is from Caps Ridge. I pasted the wrong goldenrod image.

Those are nice shots. I REALLY like the first two, I can't believe you got two harebells to sit still in one shot.

BTW, I saw your name in the persied gallery on spaceweather.com, congrats on a nice meteor photo as well!

Gorgeous pictures as always, ForestGnome. We've admired your pictures on VFTT and this forum also! The "time lapse" for lack of a better word, on the waterfall/moss picture is amazing.

I think that the 3rd picture may be Fireweed. See this page for a comparison:

Thank you so much! And that does look to be fireweed. I think it's one of the most beautiful wildflowers I've seen, and the location is amazing as well.

Jim, thanks much! I knew you'd still be around the MWO site. Hope you're shooting a lot. I think I'll post that meteor shot here, but a bigger file.
