Hello everyone.
Just wanted to thank everyone for this event.
We were the couple that got engaged at the summit.

Just figured I'd post this article the Alisa sent me on it.
http://www.mountwashingtonvalley.com/buildIncludeW.lasso?-database=WWW_CDS_WeeklyArticle&-layout=WEB&-response=Story.lasso&-recordID=36334&-search

Also had a general question for anyone local in Conway..
Did anyone see this article in the printed version of the paper?
I am in contact with the Conway Daily Sun and they dont know what day it may have been printed on (or if it was printed or just web only).
We are trying to get a hardcopy to frame.

Thanks again to everyone involved with this amazing event.
It truely changed our lives. :D

I didn't see it in print, but it's a nice story. It brings to mind something that has been said by my co-workers: "it's all down hill from here". Hopefully that's literal and not figurative.

Since we will "just be in the area" I am sure it will be okay to join in.

If you rent the Tip Top House - and have tables for us guests - we can bring the Cliff Bars and Gorp.

When I was a kid climbing MW there was a hotel on top. Huge open lobby area that was turned into the cafeteria. After the wedding we could have stayed there to enjoy the sunset and sunrise. Maybe the newlyweds could just rent Tip Top for the night for us all. This is sounding just fine to me.

This is sounding great. Just tell the wife to be that we have everything under control. We will plan the whole wedding and all she has to do is show up!:D

Brad

Maybe after the wedding we can grill red hot dogs on the deck.

This was before the Sherman building. I have been looking for old pictures of it. I may have some in my stacks of slides - I will convert to JPGs after i get other things off my list.

They used to have awesome American Chop Suey at the old cafeteria.
