Trip to the Top

I have not been to the top in quite sometime. To keep the story short, the last time I tried to get to the top the Auto Road was closed.
I have made plans to come up for the weekend on Sept 15th, come to find out there is some car race. If someone knows if the auto road is open the 15/16th of Sept please let me know.

The Auto Road should be open weather pending. traditionally it is open to Columbus Day weekend, again if the weather permits. You can check in as often as you want with the link below.http://www.mountwashingtonautoroad.com/
