Heres a link (http://outdoors.webshots.com/album/560535480iwKcqU) of my hike with my family to Mt Washington on 9-1-07 from Pinkham via Lions Head and back via Nelson Crag trail.

Very nice pictures. It was a pretty nice day. But, you seemed a wee bit cool.

Thanks Brad.

It was abit less than cool. And windy as well. I thought I was going to be blown off of Ball Crag there for awhile. I'm surprised the pictures from there came out as clear as they did. :)

Thanks for the pics. I never get tired of hiking photos. It looks like the temps were perfect for hiking as well. I like hiking when it's nice and cool! Which is why I never hike in the summer in Florida.

Beautiful pics!! I'll need to learn more about Nelson Crag - it's not a trail I'm familiar with! Thank you for sharing!

I'm glad you enjoyed them. I'm not a fan of hiking in high heat and humidity either. It tuckers me out too quickly. :D

Thank you. It was my first time on the trail. It's a bit steep in parts and very exposed to the winds, but the views were worth it. :)

Nelson Crag Trail is awesome! Thanks for the TR and pictures! They bring back fond memories. We've climbed NC twice, the first time my camera quit on me. The second time was for Seek the Peak in '05. Pictures here if anyone is interested:

Nice pics KDT. It's good to see others pics of the same trail, only in the reverse direction. :) Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, you had some real nice ones, too! Did you see many other hikers on that trail? We've always been alone.

Really great stuff, another perspective of the mountain I have not seen. I especially enjoyed the views into Huntington Ravine.

From below NC, we met one person on the way down who flew by us after we were in the trees and a pair on the way up . Above NC we met quite a few on the way up who said they had come up from Huntington Ravine.
