Well now that there's a reliable source of power, why not in 20 foot high neon lights? It could probably be read from Portland, maybe even Boston and Montreal. :D

When I was on my way up from Lake of the Clouds last Saturday a white plane buzzed past the summit buildings 3-4 times that I recall...was it for this?

I like the 2nd picture. It really shows the rugged rocks well.
You can see the trail coming up out of the trees and over the rocks and from this vantage point it doesn't look friendly.


Oh, and about the sign, I thought that was what that new power cable was for...lighting the neon sign:D

A good thing there was no one here in the room when I saw this! I burst out laughing.

I thought the power line was for the searchlights and minigolf course in the parking lots.
