Views From Gliders Over MWO

A website visitor, Todd Smith, contacted me earlier this week with a link to his blog. He is one of many glider pilots that decend upon Gorham Airport to 'ride the wave' over Mount Washington each fall. Todd had his camera with him, and wished to share his experience here...

These photos are INCREDIBLE, IMO, especially the ones near the end of the page of the snow covered mountains. I hope you enjoy them as much as I have...and thanks Todd!

great stuff, pictures 474 and 706 are sweet, in 706 the Great Gulf looks like someone took a giant bite out of Mt. Washington

Those are wonderful. In my opinion IMG 0657 is a classic shot. The Obs, the Glider and the Cog.
