Dear Mt. Washington Observatory Friends,
I am happy to be responding to the request from Mike Renzi – Summit Intern. I am a newly registered user, but an Old Guy when it comes to climbing the White Mountain peaks.
Let me first say "Welcome" to the other newly registered Forum participants including: WxSpotter, Steve Hill, kwilley, steve 03222, Climbabout, MelNino, Brad and Tigerbeat. Welcome aboard!
My climbing days ended about three years ago when I ruptured a medial colateral ligament in a slightly-too-competitive volleyball tournament. :-) I am still able to ride my bike faithfully (a low-impact sport) in the Rodman Ride for Kids. See www.rodmanrideforkids.org
So that is why I LOVE a lunchtime ganger at the Mt. Washington cam and weather observer comments. Thanks to you, I can still vicariously enjoy the heights from the comforts of my desktop.
Have an excellent winter up there!
Sincerely,
--Fred
