Wow, as of 7:01am the winds are at 99.4mph, looks like the first chance for some century club attempts.

I thought you were talking about 100 year folks who have climbed MW. I plan to be in that one.

Being from NJ, I doubt I'll see 100, so maybe someone can bring up my ashes if they don't sprinkle them on the cat box :)

What does this mean exactly?

Medical waste in the oceans, pollution in the air, land fills, toxic waste.

I grew up in Central NJ (Hillsborough, just south of Manville, home of asbestos insulation, Johns Manville insulation).

I went to college at Rutgers, in Newark, NJ.

So, I'm sure all that "clean living" has shaved some years off my life.

But, I've never done any drugs, smoked or drank (none of that, and I was in a fraternity, go figure!), so maybe that will extend my life, which means it will balance out to an average life span.

Steve, I am not sure about the "ox" part. I am sure there are other animals that could be used to describe me.

Several times over the past few years I have seen a "senior" man going up Tuckermans at a not so slow steady pace. He blew right by me - head down - focused on what he was doing - and left me in the dust. Each time I have seen him I restate my retirement desire - get out on the trail every 2 weeks and really get in shape.
