view of Mt. Carrigain

I was exploring the area of Meadow Brook, west of Sawyer River Trail. There's lots of pretty little beaver bogs, like this one with a view of the southern side of Mt. Carrigain and Signal Ridge. This is a good time to explore bogs because snowshoeing over the snow is easier than hiking through in summer.

Carrigain is a very distinctive mountain that I use for reference when I'm trying to get my bearings.

I 2nd what Mike says. Very easy to pick out among the others, and can be seen from almost everywhere.
