I will be going alone up Mt Adam in early March- Can someone suggest a trail that is pretty straight forward from bottom to top. I havent been hiking here yet and would like to minimize any dangers of getting off the trail etc...

I was looking at Lowes Path, if anyone could link a trail map besides just topo that would be great.

Thanks

Lowe's Path is probably your best bet. Valley Way to Madison Spring Hut then up to Adams is another straight forward hike. Expect winter conditions and the possibility of extreme weather above tree line in March. Do you have any experience above tree line in winter?

I'm sure someone else here can link you to a map. Guys?

Buy the AMC trail maps if not the entire WMG. They are sold separately, and if you buy them that way, might as well get the Tyvek ones.

Adams is just as dangerous and difficult in the winter as Washington. You may be lucky and have good weather and good snowpack, or you may not. Owning gear and being able to use it correctly are two different things. As Norm Abrams always says "Read and understand ... how to use your power tools".

You can access an interactive online map of all the trails in the White Mountains at https://www.wmgonline.org/ (https://www.wmgonline.org/login/index.cfm) You have to register, but the free account gives you basic access to the maps. Paid account ($15/yr) adds route planning, trail descriptions, etc. I'll second Tim's advice as well - buy a copy of the AMC WMG book and maps.
