View Full Version : Whats up with the deck cam??

Summited yesterday 11-08 and when I got to the top I headed up to the deck to smile at the camera. I waited for around 20 Minutes to make sure that I would be in the picture and then headed down. Just got home and went to the deck cam for 10:45 on 11-08 and it is black. Not real sure how these cams work so maybe I am doing something wrong in bringing it up. If someone could let me know if the cam did take a picture at 10:45 on 11-08 I would appreciate it. There looked to be a few pictures that were black around this same time. With my luck the camera didn't take a 10:45 shot.

It looks like the 10:15AM and 11:15AM images were fine. However, the ones in between are black. You got caught in a blackout period! You will just have to climb again ...

They have had 8 black out images this morning also. There seems to be a problem at the summit.

Hey Brad thanks so much for getting back to me so quick. I didn't realize there were black out periods. I guess I will just have to try again.

Well, lets say there are not supposed to be blackouts. They seem to have hit yesterday and today.

I heard they have been doing maintenance on the cameras.

With the way I looked when I made it to the top I wouldn't be surprised. With the warm weather and rain I looked like a drowned rat.

MUCH better day than being in Jersey!!!!!!!!!!!!! :( sad part is I had to return back to the car and head back home to .................Jersey.

You need to get one of those cars that wont go back to Jersey, I got one and now I am living the life here in NH:D
I miss Jersey for some of my friends in North Jersey, but thats about it

No need for an explanation here is there, except for who did that on the deck? Hmm???? I dont think it was the bears either:)
