There is no doubt in this image where the current snow pack lies across New England. Still ice on everything north of Massachusetts, except Lake Champlain. Mount Washington is visible as a speck of white. The state of Pennsylvania is the dividing line between winter and spring. With snow in New York and cherry blossoms in Maryland.

The current zoomed in view of Tuckermans Ravine shows a lot of snow. When the trail report for Tuckermans says "at the stake" snow depth is 73", where is the stake?

Two weeks later and the snow is confined to the mountains. Lake Sebago appears to be ice free. It looks like the Tug Hill Plateau in New York is still holding snow as well.

I still have 3 feet in my front yard.
Drove by Sebago yesterday on route 302 and it is frozen as far as one can see. Long Lake is frozen solid with a few small patches of water around the edges in the coves. We have from 1 to 5 feet of snow in the yard and 6 inches throughout the woods.
I took some pictures at noon to show the snow on the ground here in Maine.
Front yard is 100% covered with snow - frozen lake can be seen in the background.

I just walked down to the campfire circle by the lake's shore. In the open clearing I was in snow up to my knees. Under the tree cover most of the snow is gone. Some patches of 3-4 inches deep is about it.
