Welch-Dickey Loop

Has anybody ever done the Welch-Dickey Loop I am thinking of doing it this weekend if I can but don't know my daughter is due for our first grand daughter and if she don't pop by this weekend might not make it up there. Any input would be appreciated. If not might have to go the following weekend.

Did this loop Monday, it was fabulous. We had great weather and the views are fantastic. Went up Welch then over to Dickey. Not overly strenuous but has several rock scrambles. Great views for the effort.

Yup, you should do it. I think it's one of the nicest hikes in the Whites, certainly a lotta bang for the buck. It's an easy drive from Boston, too.

One more "yes" vote here. Did it last July and other than baking on the ledges it was awesome. This time of year should be perfect. Enjoy!

One more vote! This is a great loop. We've always gone counter-clockwise (Over Welch first). That seems to be how most people do it. I wouldn't be surprised if it was quite busy. We did it last on Columbus Day weekend and it was packed. Have fun! :)

Well our first grand daughter was born on May 28th at 6:55 am 6lbs 12ozs. and absolutley beautiful. So I might make the trip up next weekend want to hold grand daughter again this weekend. Thanks everybody for your replies.
