Comets and Shooting Stars

Last summer we had some nice displays of shooting stars and comets - mainly in August. What are the best viewing dates this year?

The Perseids in August are the best known but see this site for the rest of them.

Wonderful. August 12-13 is on my calendar to watch. Now to get to Maine a few days early to have good visibility. Plus, we will have a couple of good web cameras recording through most of the night to see what we catch.
