So I finally got most of the pictures up from our trip. I have to get the video on when I can find a good place to put it.

We wanted to start trying to do 2-trips a year and this was our summer trip up Tuckermans. We had five people with us. Only two of us had been there before. We got an early start, knowing we'd need to take more fequent breaks due to our party. We had pretty good weather for the morning, knowing the rain was coming. We got to the Hermit Hut without any problems. Right when we were finishing our lunch the rain started. We talked about it and decided to head up and see how far we could make it. The rain wasn't bad as we went up the ravine. When we got to the top the fog came in and started making things bad We just slowed down and took our time and made it up. We head inside, changed, bought some stuff. We talked about it and with the inexperiance of some of our group, and the announcement the road closed we chose to take the shuttle down. I just got this camera for this trip and used it for sort of a learning experiance. I kept taking pictures as long as I could, but once the fog came in, it was to hard to take it out. And the lense finally crapped out on me. I hope people like 'em.

I got some time to throw a few of the pictures up now. I didn't really have time earlier.

The left side of Tucks from the shelters. This was when the clouds started heading into the bowl and gave us the sign to get moving.

Looking back into the bowl when the rain was coming down and the fog started catching up.

This cloud came over the side of the bowl and dropped down to the huts, then started moving up the headwall.

The clouds finally got into the bowl and were getting over the headwall. This was where I finally put the camera away, since we really couldn't see much anyway.

I love it when the weather is changing like that on Mount Washington. Probably no fun to hike in, but it looks cool.

Aside from it being completely unsafe, it was a lot of fun. The rain, winds, gave it a little excitement. I've been up there on good days, and been able to outrun the rain a few times, even our winter trip we had great visibility, no problems. This was my first time on something that big in those conditions, so it was a new-fun. I guess young and stupid for the win. We have a friend coming home from Iraq this weekend who was supposed to go, so were planning another trip for septemberish, hopfully we'll get better weather.
