Were you in a canoe/kayak, or walking the shoreline.

This is one of the spots that is high on my list of places to really explore, but I'm have yet to do significant preliminary research...

Jim, I explored by canoe. The small fraction of shoreline I saw would be extremely difficult to walk.

Gorgeous pictures as always!! There are a couple campsites that have a good view of the eagle's nest, but I hesitate to give away their numbers. It was hard enough to get a reservation this year! :D

We've got two camping trips to Umbagog planned before the snow flies. The wildlife is just amazing there!
