Joe and I decided to see how I could do starting with short hikes. We went up to Mount Cannon Thursday Sept 4th, took the tram up to the top, and then we hiked the scenic circle path. It was a little hazy when we started out, and by the time we got back to the tram building and went out onto the deck, it was so hazy you could barely see any mountains in the distance. We also decided to stop at the Basin, and we hiked the circle around that as well. I am glad I brought pain pills!! ROFL. Somehow, between 2 people and 3 cameras we managed to take 4 videos and 386 pictures!! LOL. So here are the pictures of my first mini hike with Joe this season.:D I hope you enjoy!!

Looks like a nice hike! I especially like the picture of the mountian and its reflection in the lake. Really beautiful. Which mountain and lake is that?

I also like the pictures of Cannon from the highway. We love driving through Franconia Notch, the cliffs of Cannon always look so majestic.

Also, the bugs over the water are great.

Thank you Trish!! The mountain with the reflection in the water, is actually of Mt Chocorua from Lake Chocorua on the way home ;)

The flying ants were actually on the sheet metal roof of the observation tower atop of Mt Cannon. I love how my camera was able to catch some as clear as day. My old camera could never do that!!
