Is it the Bacon dripping view of a fried egg?

Hole punch cloud, caused by an airplane.

The Eye of God? Or of Santa Claus (he knows when you've been sleeping, he knows when you're awake...).

It is clearly a picture of Bigfoot's foot imprint. Just that this was taken from the woods side of the view - not where SpyBoy was standing when he took the series of his stills.

Sparing you a thermodynamics lesson, basically a cloud made of liquid was seeded with ice crystals in a below freezing environment. The vapor pressor over ice is greater than that of over water, and the ice crystal propogation is exponential at the expense of the water. The rapid expansion of glaciation causes the hole in the cloud look.

And yes...the propagation could have begun with an aeroplane...

I still say it's Santa.

Yup, they have been here many times. They seem to like what is here.

I noticed your speculation that that "hole cloud" might have something to do with me... You are actually closer to the truth than you realized! It is still considered top secret, but I am working on new "equipment" in anticipation of this year's busy Christmas season...

I'll be visiting many of you in just a few months - so remember - BE GOOD! I'll be watching...

Love,

Santa

:D Knew it was you all the time, Santa!

Winter's gonna be cold and oil will still be expensive, so I intend to be very, very bad. :D

Sorry Gorque - we don't actually give people coal any more - bad for the environment - all the soot, mining, and other stuff! We've found that it is much safer, healthier, and easier to simply give people a PICTURE (http://www.mii.org/Minerals/minpics/coal.jpg) of coal!

If you're good though, perhaps you'll get something from LL Bean (http://www.llbean.com)...

Hopefully if Santa or anyone is getting things from LL Bean they do it through the sponsored link off the MWO site.

Santa

What good is your safety and health when you're frozen solid?

Anyways, I'll just need to be extremely bad, as I'll need a heck of a lot more pictures of coal to burn. ;)
