international donations?

Hey there! My husband and I participated this year...but we had some difficulty gathering donations..

We have a lot of international friends and family that were unable to sponsor us or donate to this cause. Heck..he can't even donate due to all of his accounts are still Australian :p

I was wondering if you guys were going to open up the donation process to include international donors :)

The MWO system doesn't accept international Visa and Mastercard payments?

I spoke to our Membership Coordinator, who told me that many foreign card transactions are accepted, but some are not. The decision rests with the company we hire to process the transactions and is based on fraud prevention settings. Unfortunately, fraud prevention results in many unneeded rejections. Fortunately, we will be transitioning our credit card processing as part of a larger overhaul, which will result in greater acceptance of foreign credit cards.
