Another story from boston.com from their "Odd Jobs" section about Ryan Knapp's job.

They seem to get a kick out of using puns.

Better than I thought it was going to be. And I am glad they used that pic. Some of the poses I was doing...I am a meteorologist not a model.

Thanks for posting this link. I was wondering when this story was going to come out.

That was a really good article...well written and really puts the job out there into a nice perspective... :)

Did you ever think to try one of those steerable three ski sleds with the steering wheel?....LOL

I dropped a few long red sleds at the N Conway office last winter. Based on this article they are probably now destroyed and in need of being replaced.

If one can have fruit and pears delivered to your door every month, can you have red plastic sleds delivered too? Sled of the Month Club?

We do have one of those type sleds. A volunteer (John L.) dontated it to us when he was up here a few years ago. The "brake" on it is useless as the road is mostly ice, so it has nothing to really dig into to stop. So feet or an ice axe are still needed. It steers on about 80% of the road but the sharpe corners and steep parts make steering useless. But it is a good sled and has endured for a few years now. It seems the higher the price the sled is, the longer it lasts. But, I would rather be cheap since even the expensive stuff eventually gives out as well.
