Desert rat seeks cold temps.

I am pretty much a desert rat. I have had extensive climbing and hiking experiences at Red Rock Canyon, Arches, Canyonlands, Zion, Bryce, Joshua Tree, and Death Valley. I have some alpine experience: Mt. Wilson and Mt. Goldenhorn, Colorado San Juans; Mt. Whitney, Cali.; Glacier Peak, Washington Cascades. However, I still consider my experience to be limited in regards to alpine climbing. I will be visting the eastcoast in early April and hear Mt. Washington calling my name. I know Mt. Washington has unpredictable weather, but if anyone cane give me some beta, I would be thankful.

April on Mount Washington is the beginning of the transition to spring. You could get sub zero winter temps and a foot of blowing snow, or have 40+ temps and bluebird skies. This is the month where skiing in Tuckerman Ravine goes crazy. You may run into thousands in The Bowl. If you can time it right you might want to check out the Inferno.
