When I drove Sunday from Maine to NC I stopped "on the way" at the Mt Washington Hotel to take pictures before sunrise. Besides it being very cold I did get some interesting pictures.

They are at http://public.fotki.com/bradbradstreet/maine/winter/2008-12-01-nh

I was hoping for more color - but it was nice anyway.

You should get some good pictures - if you wait and get real cold - like I did. i am just now starting to warm up.

On the 27th I was waiting for the fog to lift by the N Bridgton beach - and it just would not move. So, I snapped a couple of pictures you might recognize. not sure which house is yours.

That first pic is stunning, Brad. Hope you have the resolution for a nice 8x10 at least. We used to go out striper fishing before dawn and I always put my gear down and just sat to watch the sunrise. Nothing beats it.

Thanks. The resolution should allow for even larger printing. My son and I are in the process of setting up an e-commerce web site for selling some of our pictures. We are more in the planning stage - selecting which pictures will be available. A couple of these nighttime pictures will be included. The resolution is a lot better than the 12x18 I have framed in my office. So, we should have a good range of print sizes available. I always print on metallic paper which makes the colors stand out well.

The picture in the office is

Good Morning,
Awesome photo of the Mtn and hotel! Just behind where you took the picture stood a large hotel called the Mt Pleasant House, which was once operated by my family in the latter part of the 19th century. I have seen many a photo taken from this spot, though I like yours more than any I have seen. You have a talent to be proud of. Take care.
Regards,
J.P.

The first image is as fine a shot as I've ever seen of the hotel and Mountain, and the second one swept me off my feet with its depth and compression assaulting the thin bright line of the horizon from above and below. A sleek silhouette never goes out of style or gets taken out of context. These are three impressive images to be sure.
