Here are more pictures from my recent summit volunteer week... The pictures start with a few in Vermont, then from a short hike in NH, and then continue up on the summit.

Absolutely beautiful pictures. The one with the clouds coming over the mountains almost makes it look like a wave. I really like the one of the sign with all the ice on the other side on page 2. Thanks for sharing.

Wonderful pictures Ed! It looks so surreal compared to the only times I've been up there, which have been summer. Really must be remarkable to be up there during winter.

I especially like the shot (#48) of the snow piled by the door INSIDE the turret. Shows how the wind finds its way into everything on the summit in winter. Storm must have come from the northeast? Cool! Note the yellow mallet next to the snow shovels. It's used for smashing ice off of the turret. Ask Bill about it. It might have "Property of Bill Ozanne" written on it somewhere.

Hi Ed,

Just checked out the gallery...fantastic and varied sights here, all extremely well captured. You truly had a great week.

I'm a bit behind in posting to the photojournal...and will remedy that by friday. I may ask for hirez's of a few others.
