I took many Thanksgiving day photos of the birds and squirrels in my in-law's yard. Seems that they're all bumping up the calories for the Northeastern winter.

We finally have our first dusting of snow in southeastern NH this morning. We've been watching a large flock of robins and another flock of starlings and even a red wing blackbird. As long as the ground is bare they will stick around. There's a decent flock of goldfinches raiding my feeders right now, along with the usual suspects, titmice and nuthatches. Oh yes, and the snowbird juncos! Love to watch them all!

Great shot - quite the menagerie! We got a couple of inches of snow in RI last night and this morning and the birds were happy to have the feeders today buy the looks of our yard today too. Finally a taste of winter!
