Latest Sunrise

We passed a milestone today, or maybe yesterday. In this part of the country we had the latest sunrise. The shortest day was on the first day of winter, and the earliest sunset was a few wee*s before that. Now we are ma*ing ground on both ends. Beginning tomorrow we will also be gaining over one minute of daylight per day. In southern New England the pea* is close to three minutes per day around the equinox.

The worst of winter is now over, at least in terms of daylight.

Note: replace "*" with the letter that sounds li*e "cay" as that *ey doesn't wor* on this computer. Fun!
