I was surprised the planes had wheels, figured they'd be using skis on the ice, but I guess not.

Planes will be flying in daily (more so on nice days in the morning to go to the diner). Feb 15th is the Alton Bay ice festival out on the lake, so quite a few planes will be landing then. It is fun to watch planes land on the lake :)
