View Full Version : My new favorite cabin design

Lately I've been on a small home kick. Been reading a few blogs about tiny houses, some as small as 86 square feet (yeah, that's a bit too small).

Then I discovered this beauty. It's not as small, but the fact that it's modeled after a forest service fire tower is what got me. Imagine this nestled in the trees somewhere in New Hampshire :)

That place looks awesome. Any photos of the living/cooking area?

Pictures #8 & #9 are the lower level (in the stone part). That's the kitchen and bedroom area. The upstairs is just an open concept living room.

Bathroom is a separate building, ugh! I would have figured a way to put on in so I wouldn't have to walk through the snow.

I wonder how much this little cabin cost, I'm sure it wasn't cheap.

I think that is very cute!! A tad bit bigger, and a lot taller (for better views) and it would be perfect!! :D

Very cool! Hmmmm....I'm in the design phase for a playhouse.....

Heck, I'd be happy with the wood fired hot tub in pic.#1!

NG Adventure magazine has a short article in the March issue about green prefab homes. Some of these are really cool, too bad they are priced so high.
