Remember the comment from Corey McEntyre that he had a 3 week window of opportunity to look for a good hike? Well, he picked today. All the forecast data he could find said today was The Day to do Madison. So, he was off this morning (with my camera and car). Hmmm, he has driven my extra Maine car more than I have this past year.

I will get a call later today when he is down. He will then be heading to VT for a few days - without a computer or way of uploading the pictures. So, we will not see pictures for a while. It looks like he picked a good one.

Absolutely! Looks like the perfect day for an above treeline hike. We'll anxiously await his trip report and pictures.

Corey will have to do his own Trip report. But, I just got a call saying he is down after successfully getting to the summit of Madison. He had a great day - good views - wishes he had crampons because of the ice - lots of wind - did a pass on trying to do Adams also. Madison was enough.

So, he is off to VT and will return to Maine late Sat or on Sunday.
