This yearling bull is in trouble. F@G explained that he has lost too much weight, causing his eyes to look like this. I hope he makes it. I'll be keeping an eye on him as much as I can.

I hope he makes it. He has the biggest bell I've ever seen on a yearling.

Great shots as always Patrick. Having to use the telephoto for the flower close-ups didn't seem to hurt anything. Beautiful images of the trilliums in particular. Out of curiosity, where did you spot the bear?

The bear was about 100' into the woods kinda near Sabbaday Brook.

The yearling bull is still with us. I saw him last night. I quickly leave him alone now. I just spot him to see if he's still alive and scoot out of there.

I spent about 15 minutes manuevering to a place to take the pics. It was third time I saw him. I sat on a nice patch of dry grass about 20' away while he watched me and drank. I knew he didn't look too healthy so I slowly left without scaring him away from the lick. I assume he just has to gain weight to recover and survive.
