and of course.... since my real bread and butter (LOL) comes from being a volunteer staff photographer for the Berkshire Scenic Railway Museum... here are 5 shots from this past weekends charter from Canaan, CT to Danbury, CT...

I was deadheading on our second of two engines on the way back to Lenox, MA after dropping off our train in Canaan on friday night... this shot IS handheld...

The photo of West Cornwall really evokes memories, there is also an iconic covered bridge over the Housatonic just a few hundred yards to the West of this shot, and the AT crosses over the same river just a few miles to the South, I think at Cornwall Bridge. Nice shots.
