Was on a fast paced tour of the White Mountain Attractions this week (if you haven't been following my Twitter (http://twitter.com/spyboy)and Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/spyboy)updates.)

Nah, the white balance was just off ;)

On the way down the cog the sun came out.

Awesome! No place better than on the tower to feel like you're on top of the world. No pano though? ;)

Only had my Canon G9 and my GPS with me, I packed light since we were seeing 18 attractions in 4 days (it was the White Mountains Attractions Familiarization Tour). Since I'm a member of the OBS and was up there, figured it was a good time to pop in to see it, since I never had.

The tour was great, it was fun taking the coach up the auto road, then the cog down the other side (can't do that normally since your vehicle will be on the wrong side of the mountain).

Although not a pano, here is a view from the very top on the 20th (day of the foot race) just before it really cleared. I had the tower to myself for about ten minutes. I actually got a little sunburn watching the race in a tee-shirt.

Nice. I didn't have my camera with me when I was up in the tower at STP last year (because my wife had it so she could take a picture of me on the tower). Will have to take a different approach this year. I think we need to convince Kirk to be up there for STP this year and get some panos throughout the day with STP hikers in them (hint hint);)
