Trip from Late September

Taken from Adams summit a few days earlier; believe this leads to the old slide trail. We are going to try and find that old trail on another trip.

About 90 minutes later we would be concerned for our life; pouring rain, high winds, and mixed ice left us miserable on "The Cornice" trail attempting to skirt Jefferson. Never, ever, ever take the cornice trail in bad weather just go over the top and hope for the best!!!!

Great stuff, thanks! Also great advice about The Cornice. Such rough going it's just as easy and quicker to go over the summit. Glad you made out alright!
