Giant cascade off-trail in Smokies

One of the first things I did after moving back down south was get together with some fellow bushwhacking nuts and do a really interesting off-trail backpack in the Greenbrier section of the Smokies. This cascade is at least 100 feet high, and practically no one has ever seen it. We had to climb up around the side of it and cross an interesting ledge.

Wow! Quite the adventure and a fantastic story. That cascade is beautiful as is the rest of the area. Quite the trek you had getting there though. Thanks for bringing us along for the ride.
