I was thinking of heading up to Mount Washington for the Turkey Day weekend (kind of a tradition now for me!) and was wondering if there is any snow or ice up there yet. We usually ice climb in Tuckermans Ravine but this year I want to try an evening ascent of Washington too, but only if there is snow! If anyone can offer some info on what it up there I would be very appreciative! Thanks! - K :)

Weird, huh? Strange weather. Thought the snow that was there earlier this month would be there until spring. Odd seeing the mountain snow free at this point. Or isn't it?

No snow on the top, no snow on the sides, even the ice is gone from the nice warm weather lately.

Wow.... kinda getting late in season; hope there is some up there next month when I'm up for my annual winter pilgrimage on Dec 11th

I can't believe it is 60 degrees and pouring today! I am anxiously waiting for winter! Maybe this will all be snow up north! :) I will be so sad if our turkey day weekend tradition of playing in the snow and ice can't happen!

I am not happy to hear this ... my trip is not until December 31st but I was hoping the snow would be starting to pile up by now.
