Three weeks ago I had norovirus. Two weeks ago I had acute bronchitis. Last week I sprained my wrist in a high speed wipeout at Gunstock. This week the wife and I took a nice, easy 30+ degree hike in the bright sun to the Green Hills Preserve in North Conway. There are some beautiful hikes that don't take you over 2000'. While you're busy crying over my recent woes (I know you're laughing) check out these shots I took today of our hike.

KD, thanks for the pictures. It looked like a wonderful day. There were a couple of pictures that I really liked - framed well.

The Green Hills are a wonderful place to hike, whether an easy stroll around Pudding Pond, or a short hike up Peaked, Middle, or Rattlesnake. I took my (then) 2-year old up Middle last year and made it just short of the top. The trail was ice covered near the top (similar to your photo), and so we turned back. Still a great hike, especially as I didn't have to carry him.

More info on the Green Hills, including a map, is available at http://www.nature.org/wherewework/northamerica/states/newhampshire/preserves/art315.html
