Can anyone provide Pinkham Notch and Mt. Washington summit snow accumulations for this period. This was this a high impact northeast storm in terms of geography and population affected with some very impressive local snowfall totals in NH's White Mountains.
The information that you are looking for is warehoused at the NCDC:
I'm not sure how much of their data if free, and how much is a nominal fee to access...but that is definately the place you need to start looking...
And yes, having seen that data in the past...what an amazing time to be in the white mountains!

2/24/69 - 3/4/69 Pinkham Notch, NH received 108" of snow - with 145" reported on ground at Mar 4 obs.
The NH State Climate Office was very helpful with this, even supplied copies of the original COOP data reports from Pinkham Notch - www.unh.edu/stateclimatologist/
a second storm 3/3-3/4 dumped an add'l 31"
