Perfect day to be out in the hills. Took the old logging road from the basin up to Liberty springs trail. I got a little lazy and traded my tripod for snowshoes; kinda wish I sucked it up and brought it; clouds were moving fast could have gotten some nice shots.

Beautiful! If these aren't so great I'd love to have seen the results with the tripod.

Going up next Friday for an overnight; my full bag of tricks is coming hoping for clear sunset and sunrise.

Tripod or not, your photos are excellent and thanks to your good composition and camera angle, these photos provide an accurate depiction of the beauty that can be seen from the high peaks in the Franconia Range.
