Places to stay near Mt Washington?

Im going to to Mt Washington this coming weekend and will need a place to stay. Any recommendations? Im trying to keep the price down so does not need to be fancy!

Many folks stay at the AMC facility in Pinkham Notch. There are some inexpensive motels north of there in the Gorham area off route 2.

If you're looking for the North Conway area I recommend the 1785 inn. They are sorta a bed and breakfast place. Not super expensive, but also not the cheapest.

I would check hotels.com or something like that. http://www.mtwashingtonvalley.org/ might also give you some ideas.

I ended up booking a night at the AMC Pinkham/Joe Dodge Lodge.

Seems like the location is unbeatable, and the price was great too. Ill make a TR sometime after the weekend and will make sure I include the lodge.

I am renting a room this weekend @ the Colonial Motel in North Conway. King bed and a two person jacuzzi for 116.00 @ nite.

You'll be happy with Joe Dodge. Nice facilities, good food and great company with the other hikers/skiers staying there. We love the AMC lodges.
