Who braved I-91 on Friday night? Or any other north country highway for that matter.
That drive broke into my top 10 for epic winter driving trips. Impressive since there wasn't that much snow. About 16 miles into Vermont I made it past a group of a dozen or so cars, mostly SUV's. I was about 100 yards ahead of them breaking trail in zero visibility when I looked in my rear-view mirror and I see an SUV begin to fish-tail. Next thing I know he's driving perpendicular to the highway, and then I see brake lights. Not sure what happened, I think the other cars avoided him.
I heard there were over 100 crashes on I-93 and I-89. I came across 3 on my trip, and I think most of the CT/NY pack of drivers was behind me.
