hello to all just got a new hiking gps and was wondering if anyone would have
any gpx files of the local trails they might share with me :D

The AMC has an online mapping program that is pretty good. I used the free trial on my hike up Washington. The info looked good but I honestly never broke out the GPS because the trails were so obvious. It was more of a backup for me in case of darkness, and also my wife had a copy of my route back in NConway. But others have told me it has been pretty accurate.

The Appalachian Trail Conservancy has files for the entire AT, plus waypoint for shelters and such.

You can also get a login for EveryTrail (an iPhone app), search through other peoples trips and download the gpx. For example:
