Last hike before NH

Well, about a year ago I hiked Mts Race and Everett in MA...and it was brutal! For a year I harbored a hatred for Mt Everett, but swore I'd return.

Well, we did yesterday....and what a glorious hike! Perfect weather, just the right amount of challenge, and a good number of people on the trail.

We took the blue triangle (triforce of wisdom, anyone) to the AT. Everyone we saw was in such great spirits, it was catching.

Anyway, pics to follow as soon as I remember to upload, and now I must head to REI to exchange some pants that sadly ripped.

Less than two weeks till I head to NH!!

Those are great mountains, a couple of my very favorites. I especially love the wind-stunted pitch pines on Everett. I liked the way you described this.
