It's a great year for lupines in Jefferson and Sugar Hill this year...hope everyone can get up/over and have a peek!

I only had one weekend to shoot it this year, and made the best of the rain and very changing conditions...

Here's a few...and I've posted more at my facebook page: (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Jim-Salge-Photography/156147782386)

Beautiful photos Jim. I love seeing the Lupines. During last year's STP, I collected some seeds and I am trying to grow them down here in PA, as I will miss seeing them in bloom up there.

Since I tagged along with Jim on the afternoon of the fifth, I thought I should share some of mine. No where on par with his but if I've learned anything from Star Wars it's that every master needs an apprentice.

Ed, number 2 from the ants point of view is my favorite.

Ryan, number 3 is my favorite. I like the contrast between the color on the ground and the dark gray skies.

Jim, you certainly did make "the best of the rain and very changing conditions". Actually, in my opinion, I think the conditions served as a wonderful enhancement which resulted in lupine photos with a rather unique quality!

I took this one this past weekend near the Highland Center. Not a bad shot considering it was taken with my cell phone.

Jim- Is that first shot on the Valley Road right near the Pines but before the old Carter Cut-Off?
