Great job taking us along as always, Patrick! They really don't even look like a moose yet at that age, do they! 6-700 lbs to go, that's a lot of leaves and bark! here's to his 1st year, may he live long and prosper!

Here they are together yesterday evening. My 6 year old lens is dying; glad I bought the 7 yr. warrentee :) The auto focus has not worked for a long time and last night I could even focus manually. Time for new hardware.

Here they are again on August 20th. Thanks to Lisa and Paul for tipping me off to their location. They had seen them a half hour earlier so we all went back to the general location and I quickly found them 100' into the woods. They were happy to get non-roadside shots and I was happy to see them again. The light was fading fast at sunset but we managed some good images...

Pat, I am still so excited that I got to experience this up close and personal!!! Thanks for the kudo's on tipping you off to where they were. You were the first person I thought of when I saw them and I knew you were somewhere on the Kanc. Thanks again for letting me join you, and hopefully we can do this again!!!
